One injured after an early morning shooting in Lebanon
LEBANON, Pennsylvania (WHTM) – A man was wounded after being shot in Lebanon during the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 15th.
According to the Lebanon City Police, at approximately 2:46 a.m., officers responded to the 10th District and Church Street to check the health condition. Once at the scene, they met the caller who reported that the person they were worried about had left the area in a car before the police arrived.
Less than 10 minutes later, at 2:54 a.m., the officers were dispatched to a medical facility in Lebanon City. When the police arrived they spoke to a 29-year-old victim who had suffered two gunshot wounds.
The police say that they have concluded that the two incidents are related, and that the victim was shot in the Tenth and Church Street area, and then a friend took her to the hospital. The shooting is being investigated, but the police do not believe this was a random act of violence.
