Lily James failed to win an award for her critically acclaimed performance as Pamela Anderson in the TV drama Pam & Tommy, despite her Emmy, Golden Globe, and Critics’ Choice nominations.

And now, the former Downton Abbey star, 33, has jetted off to the Maldives with her friend and fellow actress Gala Gordon, 31.

“I found heaven on earth,” continues Lily, who is staying at the luxurious Joali Resort, where the average villa costs more than £3,000 a night.

Starring Lily and Sebastian Stan in the title roles, Pam and Tommy reportedly teased Pamela Anderson when it ran in 2021.
