Disney CEO Bob Iger has announced that arozen series and Toy Story are in development along with a follow-up to Zootopia.
Three of Disney’s most popular animated films will be getting new installments.
Walt Disney Corporation CEO Bob Iger announced Wednesday that sequels torozen and Zootopia are in development, and that a fifth Toy Story movie is in the works at Pixar.
“Today I am very pleased to announce that we have sequels in the works from our animation studios to some of our most popular franchises, Toy Story,rozen and Zootopia,” said Iger.
He added, “We’ll have more to share about these products soon, but this is a great example of how we lean towards our unrivaled brands and franchises.”
Iger revealed the exciting news during the company’s first-quarter 2023 earnings call, according to Delivery time.

The news came after Iger revealed that 7,000 employees would be laid off at the company, after an earlier earnings report revealed a loss of 2.4 million in Disney+ subscribers.
Therozen sequel will be the third in the franchise. The first was released in 2013, followed byrozen II in 2019.
The Zootopia sequel will be the first follow-up to the 2016 animated film.
Meanwhile, the new Toy Story movie is a follow-up to 2019’s Toy Story 4, and last year’s spinoff Lightyear.
