A York man was accused of shooting the paralyzed man
(WHTM) — A York man accused of shooting two people, one of whom was paralyzed, has been captured by U.S. Marshals.
According to the US Marshals Service, on December 23, 2022, Isaac Ramos Perez He allegedly visited his ex-girlfriend and shot her and her son multiple times. The gunfire left the 24-year-old paralyzed and left him with permanent facial injuries.
Ramos Perez also allegedly called friends and family members of the victims and threatened to “finish the job” and kill anyone who tried to help them, according to the marshals.
On January 27, 2023, Ramos Perez was arrested by the Violentugitive Taskorce andugitive Marshal of the US State of Connecticut and Hartford Police Department in a temporary apartment in Hartford, Connecticut.
Ramos Perez was transferred to the Hartford Police Department and charged as a fugitive from justice.
Ramos Perez will await extradition to York City to face two counts of attempted murder, as well as aggravated assault with a firearm, felonious possession of a firearm, and terrorist threats.
