County commissioners discuss legislative priorities for 2023

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (WHTM) — County commissioners gathered Wednesday at the state capitol to discuss their legislative priorities for the coming year.

The Pennsylvania County Delegates Association (CCAP) is focused on getting mental health funding, expanding broadband access, getting more 911 and reauthorization funding, dealing with children with complex behavioral issues, and promoting election integrity.

“These priorities reflect our continued commitment to providing high-quality services while using taxpayer money in the most effective and efficient way possible,” said Chip Abramovich, Venango County Commissioner and CCAP Chair.

The Pennsylvania County Commissioners Association is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization representing all 67 counties in the state.
