Love Island UK: Aaron Waters ‘Shame on me for weight and acne’ claims Courtney Stubbs
One of his former Love Island UK Australian ‘bombshells’ accused him of disrespecting her during their time together on the Australian version of the show.
Courtney Stubbs paired up with Aaron Waters for Season 3 of Love Island Australia in 2021, an experience she found traumatic due to his alleged behaviour.
She made a series of damning claims about Aaron on Instagram, after he first appeared alongside Jesse Winter as a late entrant on Winter Love Island, which is currently filming in South Africa and simulcast in Britain.

“I’ve never touched this before… because every time I think of it, it makes me want to roll my eyes,” she began.
“[Aaron] He continued to love uk island and the first thing he wanted to do was promote me. Now this isn’t the first time he’s pulled me down, so I’m used to it, honestly. But a year later, I thought, “Surely he’s going to stop talking bad about me?”
Kourtney went on to say that Aaron’s behavior towards her was “terrible”.

He bullied me, belittled me, shamed my skin, shamed my body. He was constantly telling me to turn it off [and] Silence the entire show, and he made his personal vendetta against me to make sure everyone felt the same way he did about me, she added.
Kourtney said she never said anything to Aaron or called him about his alleged behavior because she didn’t know how to respond at the time.
She also alleged that Aaron was taking swipes about her appearance, saying he preferred “clean girls” and “girls who take care of their skin” — despite Kourtney taking medication for severe acne.
“I literally had cystic acne on my face, which I obviously already felt really insecure about being on TV with my skin like that,” she said. “So to have someone show you that, I’m like, ‘Oh cool.'” Guys will notice this whole show. “

“So I would go on the show, not feel confident in my skin, not feel confident in my body, and then literally on the first morning in the villa I would be ashamed of my skin and my body,” she added, sobbing.
Love Island UK then called in to give him a platform for the second time.

“I don’t know how guys get away with bullying girls, putting girls down, telling girls they’re fat and have bad skin,” she said.
All I did was get bullied by him. Then that’s what I have to deal with…and it would be nice if people knew what it really is.
