Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating vehicle theft

UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania (WHTM) – Police in the town of Upper Allen are investigating a two-vehicle theft that occurredriday, January 20.

According to the police, two separate victims reported that their car was broken into and their personal belongings stolen. Both cars were in a parking lot located across from the Upper Allen Township Dog Park, which is located at 321 Gettysburg Pike.

Based on information discovered by the police during the investigation, the thefts occurred between 5pm and 5:25pm onriday afternoon.

One of the two cars smashed the passenger’s rear window, and the wallet was stolen. The other bag was stolen from an unlocked car.

Upper Allen Police want to remind people that depending on the situation, sometimes the safest place for purses, purses, and other valuables is on their person or in the home. If carrying the item or leaving it at home is impractical, it is highly recommended that it be hidden out of sight in a secured vehicle.
