Plans for a new showroom in Hajduk have been approved.
The site application, on Haydock Lane, has been given the go-ahead by the council.
The site is currently a solid truck sales precinct associated with wider site use which includes sales offices and commercial truck repair and maintenance premises.
The application suggested setting up a showroom/administrative building and related works.
It was approved on terms that include starting work within three years.

The Design and Access Statement stated that the application was for the proposed construction of a showroom/office building with mezzanine floor and associated works.
She added: “Where possible, all materials should be sourced locally and sustainably. Local labor will also be used as far as practicable.
“The construction of the showroom itself will ensure the longevity of the existing staff into the future as well as allow for business growth which will secure additional employment opportunities at the site.”
A new car park will be constructed in the existing building to provide six parking spaces and two spaces for people with special needs – eight new spaces in total.
Pedestrian and staff access will be via Haydock Lane, subject to the current arrangement, and secure cycle storage will be provided to the rear of the site.
