Midstate Theaters to Screen Groundhog Day 30th Anniversary Celebration

MIDSTATE, Pa. (WHTM) — Some theaters in the Midstate are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the classic “Groundhog Day.”

According to Regal Theatres, the movie is only playing in select theaters across the country.

In the Midstate, the two Royal Theaters showing the film are:

  • Regal Harrisburg: Located at 1500 Caughey Road in Harrisburg
  • Regal Manor: located at 1246 Millersville Pike in Lancaster

Both theaters show the movie at 7pm

Originally released in theaters in 1993. Starring Bill Murray, Andie MacDowell, and several other actors, the film follows a weatherman who inexplicably finds himself living the same day over and over again.
