A man accused of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to create fear of violence will face trial at Crown Court later this year.
Nathan Halliwell, of Brockway Lane, Bar, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, January 18.
At a trial preparation and deposition hearing, Halliwell, 23, pleaded not guilty to possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He is charged with possession of an air gun on December 19, 2022, with intent to lead Constable Skinner to believe that unlawful violence would be used.

Halliwell also denied using threatening or abusive words or behavior towards another person on the same date.
Liverpool registered judge Andrew Minari KC has set a trial date for the week commencing Monday, October 2 this year.
The trial is expected to last about two to three days.
Halliwell, 23, has been released on bail and will then appear in court for a hearing on April 3.
