A Lancaster County man has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting his estranged wife

MARITTA, Pennsylvania (WHTM) — A Mount Joy man has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault after he broke into his estranged wife’s home and raped her.

According to the Susquehanna Regional Police Department, they filed charges of burglary, rape, indecent assault, sexual assault, stalking, and other related charges after a two-month investigation.

Police stated that Skrymenkowski allegedly broke into his estranged wife’s home and sexually assaulted her on the evening of November 13, 2022. Skrymenkowski was alleged to have been standing over the victim while she slept while holding her cell phone so that she could not contact the police.

Skrimcovsky was arrested in the Lancaster County Courthouse and is currently in the Lancaster County Jail on a $200,000 cash bail. According to court documents, his preliminary hearing will take place onebruary 1.
