Gwyneth Paltrow’sans Are Afraid She Usesarmed Salmon In Her ‘Detox’ Salad

Gwyneth Paltrow’s followers are aghast as she uses farmed salmon in her GOOP ‘detox’ salad as it’s drizzled over coals for her cooking skills

Gwyneth Paltrow was in the kitchen in a new post shared to her GOOP Instagram page Wednesday.

The 50-year-old Oscar-winning actress was preparing a salmon salad that she said was the “resetting detox” meal she talked about on her GOOP site.

Even though the cookbook author seemed to know what she was doing in the kitchen, some of her followers destroyed it for various reasons. Some were upset about her use of farmed salmon, others were angry that she wasn’t using all of her asparagus stalks, and then there was someone who hated her using the word “detox.”

Comments were generally mixed with many people being upset about the salmon appearing to be farmed rather than line caught.

“That farm raised salmon you eat is probably the most toxic,” said one person.

Another comment on her salmon was: “It was going so well until I used farmed salmon instead of wild.”

And it went on from there: I just read an article about how much worse salmon is for you than most fish. It holds the most mercury among other things.

Lots of critics: Even though the cookbook author seemed to know what she was doing in the kitchen, some of her followers trashed her for various reasons.

Another follower, Paltrow didn’t like using the word “detox.”

“For example, people go to a ‘detox’ to get rid of alcohol and drugs because they are toxic. Your organs detoxify you every day. What toxic foods do you need to detox? He mentioned that removing certain foods from your diet does not mean you get rid of of toxins.

The salad was salmon on a bed of greens – no carbs were invited to this party.

The veggies consisted of roasted asparagus, scallions and squash cooked under the broiler but she said you could use whatever you had in the fridge.

When she cut the asparagus she didn’t use all of the stalk, which made some followers unhappy saying it was a “waste”.

Then I grilled two pieces of salmon with olive oil and when it was done I placed the fish on a bed of romaine lettuce.

Next came out a ‘real simple’ Dijon maple sauce that I put on with a spoon.

“I mean, look how sweet and wonderful this is…it’s nutrient-dense, that’s a big meal,” she said.

“Thank you so much for keeping me going with my Goop Reset, I feel really good,” finished the mom-of-two who was married to rocker Chris Martin.

The Shakespeare in Love star wore a light gray V-neck sweater with high-waisted jeans that gave a hint of her toned tummy.

Her blonde hair was down and she wasn’t wearing any makeup but she did add a few rings to her fingers for sparkle.
