Stray, light showers today, clouds loitering through Wednesday
Heavy rain on tap for Thursday…
Today: cloudy, scattering rain. hello 47.
Tonight: cloudy. Le 40.
Wednesday: cloudy and breezy. Hi 47. Wind: West 5-15 mph. Gusts of up to 25 mph.
Yesterday was an incredibly nice day with lots of sunshine and highs that reached 51 degrees! Mild weather this week but we’ll have to prepare for the return of lots of clouds and more rain. Unfortunately, the sun didn’t want to stick around!
The first round of humidity arrives today, though we don’t expect much. Temperatures will start near 32 degrees this morning, so we’ll have to keep an eye out for any locations that might see a light shower during the pre-dawn hours. Rain will have a lot of dry air on the surface to get through, so it should be light and not cause too many problems. Temperatures begin to warm in the 40s this afternoon with intermittent, light showers producing a tenth of an inch or less of rain all day.
Tomorrow it stays cloudy and the breeze picks up again with highs in the upper 40s. Thursday will be the wettest day of the week with rain falling throughout the day. 0.50-1.00 of rain seems likely with this system. While we dry briefly onriday and Saturday, more rain from Sunday through Monday from a coastal storm looks likely. Again, however, no cool air to be found. Therefore, it is likely that every storm that affects our region until next week will fall in the form of rain. Winter lovers can keep looking… it’s hard to see this style changing anytime soon. will keep you posted.

After a break on Wednesday, another system will approach on Thursday, bringing more rain. Again, it looks like there’s no real cold air to work with, so it’s another rain event for us about a half inch to an inch.
