Sarah, and you guessed it, a mild start to the week!

It will rain some rain by Thursday, but the weather pattern remains mild and calm…

Today: Mostly sunny and breezy. Hi 47. Wind: NW 5-15 mph. Gusts of up to 25 mph.

Tonight: clouds increase. Lou 32.

Tuesday: Morning shower, partly cloudy. hello 47.

Today may be the best day of the week as the month of quiet and mild January continues. Expect mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Highs will be in the upper 40s with a light breeze this afternoon. Tonight will bring rising clouds with lows around freezing.

Our next area of low pressure slips early tomorrow, but it will weaken when it does. Therefore, it is expected that there will be a few light rains during the early morning. As for the rest of the day, it will be characterized by a mixture of clouds and the sun. The temperatures could be close to freezing with this humidity coming in but given how marginally cold the air is, we don’t expect too many issues. Afternoon highs will return to the upper 40s.

After a break on Wednesday, another system will approach on Thursday, bringing more rain. Again, there seems to be no real cold air to work with, so another rain event for us with about a half inch possible. Just more of the same! It will cool slightly behind this system but there are still signs of a deep cold going in the next 10 days as a frustrating winter for snow lovers continues. Stay tuned!
