Sunny and high today, a milder touch
Back to mild weather this week with more rain…
Today: Sunny, breezy, and a little milder. Hi 42. Wind: N 10-20 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, monsoon. Le 25. Wind: N5-10 mph.
Monday: Mostly sunny, milder. Hi 47. Wind: Light.
Overnight temperatures dipped into the mid-20s with a breeze lasting 5-15 mph this morning. This breeze will stay with us all day but the high pressure will save a lot of sun! That will help keep the temperatures just over 40 degrees on a below-average first afternoon yesterday.
The month saw a lot of mild, wet weather, and that pattern continues this week. Our next area of low pressure slips into Tuesday, but it will weaken when that happens, so a little rain is expected during the morning. The temperatures could be close to freezing with this humidity coming in but given how marginally cold the air is, we don’t expect too many issues.
After a break on Wednesday, another system will approach on Thursday, bringing more persistent rain. Again, it looks like there’s no real cold air to work with, so it’s another rain event for us with a half-inch to three-quarters of an inch expected. It will cool slightly behind this system but there are still signs of a deep cold going in the next 10 days as a frustrating winter for snow lovers continues.
