A defiant Ekin-Su Culculoglu is fighting a fever as she heads to the final rehearsal for DOI
She revealed earlier this week that she may be forced to miss the first live show of Dancing On Ice 2023, after coming down with a fever.
But Ekin-Su Culculoglu told how determined she is to compete as she gave fans and an update on Saturday, saying she didn’t give up.
The Love Island star, 28, shared her story as she headed to one of her last rehearsals and looked like she was dealing with her illness with a positive attitude.
Defiant: Ekin-Su told Culculoglu how she is determined to compete in the first Dancing On Ice show on Sunday as she gave fans and an update on Saturday, saying she did not give up amid the fever.
In the caption, she wrote: “On the way to training. Back at it. I don’t give up just because I’m sick – come tomorrow!”
Ekin-Su looked glowing in the snap despite her illness as she donned a radiant makeup look and opted for a cozy light brown fleece.
She also shared on her story a group photo of all the contestants before the premiere where she commended them all for how well they had come in training.

READY: The Love Island star, 28, took to her story as she headed to one of her last rehearsals and looked like she was dealing with her illness with a positive attitude
It comes after Ekin-su revealed earlier this week that she had a fever.
The reality star, who is set to make her debut on the rink this Sunday, took to Twitter to reveal that doctors have advised her to rest, in the hopes that she will remain competitive this weekend.
Luckily, it looks like Ekin-Su’s boyfriend, Davide Sanclimenti, was on hand to take care of his girlfriend, posting on Instagram Stories that she was “in good hands.”
Sharing her poor health with fans, Ekin-su tweeted, “I’ve been told by the very ill doctors to rest, I hope I recover very quickly and am ready for Sunday.”

Proud: Also in her story, she shared a group photo of all the contestants before the premiere where she commended them all for how well they had come in training
Then, David shared a snap of his girlfriend in his Stories trying to recover in bed, writing: “Someone home with a fever…in good hands tho.”
On Wednesday, Ekin-su tweeted that she was still suffering from the illness, writing on Twitter: “Have had this flu for a month now! Not what you need for a live show on Sunday! Need to rest.’
The reality star is set to make her ice debut this weekend alongside 10 other couples in their first live show.

Other celebrities competing in this year’s series include soccer legend Johnashanu, Olympic gymnast Neil Wilson, Coronation Street’s Molly Gallagher, Drag Queen, TV personality The Vivienne, comedian Darren Harriott, actress and West End star Carly Stinson and Siva Kaneswaran of The Wanted.
Philip Scofield and Holly Willoughby return as hosts. Meanwhile, The Ice Kings Gene Torvill and Christopher Dean reprise their roles as judges on the ice panel, along with dancers Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse.
This came after Ekin-Su revealed that she had previous skating experience before competing on Dancing On Ice.

Cute: Luckily, Ekin-Su’s boyfriend, Davide Sanclimenti, appeared to be on hand to take care of his girlfriend, posting on Instagram Stories that she was “in good hands.”
The Love Island star also claimed that one of her strengths is being “very competitive”.
Ekin-su admitted that she used to skate, saying, ‘I skated as a kid but it’s been ages since I skated, you forgot right? During the pandemic I forgot how to walk because we were stuck inside for 2 years! “
I’m very competitive,” said the reality star, who is paired with Brendyn Hatfield. So if I have to do a two-hour workout, I’ll be there for four—I’ll aim for the sky!

My strengths will be that I am competitive, passionate, and learn movement quickly. My weaknesses would be overthinking and impatience. If I can’t do something, I will try and try until I can.
When asked if this was one of the scariest things she’s ever done, Ekin-su replied, ‘I’ve never felt fear in my life, I’ve never felt nervous in my life, I’ve always been confident. I think the only time I’ll be nervous will be in the final. I know I will fall and hurt myself because in life you fall and hurt yourself. I am ready.
When asked if she would win it, Ekin-su said, “Yeah I am, otherwise I don’t. I don’t mind going home early but my brain doesn’t work that way. If I’m doing it, I’m putting in 100 percent. I’ll believe.” By myself, and I believe in myself a lot.”
Dancing On Ice returns Sunday 15th January at 6:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
