‘Thelash’ star Ezra Miller pleads guilty to burglary in Vermont
Is Ezra Miller’s turbulent year coming to an end?
According to a new report from final dateembattled Sparkle The star entered a plea bargain ahead of his upcoming burglary trial in Vermont.
While Miller had originally pleaded not guilty to the felony burglary, they have now entered a guilty plea to the charge of trespassing.
Miller was charged with breaking into a neighbor’s home and stealing three bottles of alcohol in the summer of 2022. They had previously been arrested in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and harassment.
Miller will have to pay a $500 fine and serve a year of administrative probation, according to the final date.
While it seemed at one point that Miller would be fired from his role in Thelash, things aren’t so clear cut anymore. Last fall, Miller issued a public apology and reportedly held a positive meeting with Warner Bros. CEOs. Where they apologized again. And now with James Gunn and Peter Safran in charge of the DCEU, a lot of decisions have been up in the air.
“Having recently gone through a severe crisis period, I now realize that I have complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing therapy,” Miller said in a statement apologizing for his behavior. “I want to apologize to everyone for being upset and upset by my past behavior. I am committed to doing the work necessary to return to a healthy, safe, and productive phase of my life.”
It’s currently unknown if Miller’s version of Thelash will ever return in the new DCEU led by Gunn and Safran, but this news certainly makes it more likely.
Sparkle It hits theaters on June 16 and is getting positive reviews from critics who watched the early cuts of the movie.
