A police helicopter is called in to assist in a police chase after a stolen vehicle collides with another vehicle.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: “We were called to Crank Road at approximately 2.50am this morning (Friday, 13th January) to reports of a suspected stolen Nissan Juke having been abandoned in the area near Mill Lanearm, after a collision with a Hyundai Tucson. .

Nissan Duke is believed to have been stolen from an address in Haydock in the early hours.

A hunt was carried out with support from the Canine Division and an NPAS helicopter, and investigations are ongoing.
