Noel’s Diary: A Review

Mother and son had never been so close and never had a healthy connection. His memories come back to life when he returns to his childhood home. He kept noticing a woman across the street who was staring at their house while he was there collecting things. A mysterious woman, Rachel, has come to the Turners’ home looking for her mother, a former nanny. As a result of their conversation, things progressed. Jake helped her locate her mother, and she repaired the strained relationship he had with his father.

Both of them are starting to feel things for each other during their fun, crazy and adventurous journey. The surprise in this story is that Rachel is already engaged and prefers certainty to “possibilities” in her life. Things suddenly change direction and reach a point where nothing is certain. Watch The Noel Diary to find out what happened to their love story.

Because Rachel’s mother’s name is Noel, the name of the movie has been kept: “Noel’s Diary.” Rachel was an unmarried child. Thus, she was unable to take her with her. Noelle leaves the diary she kept after Rachel’s birth at the Turners so that one day her daughter can find it. Besides comedy and romance, the movie also depicts parental love and sacrifice.

The Noel Diary is a quiet romantic comedy adapted for the big screen by Charles Shyer from the Richard Paul Evans novel of the same name. Justin Hartley plays Jake Turner, and Barrett Doss plays Rachel. Ellieoster is going to be my favorite movie character. She is a romantic at heart and knows how to embrace life to the fullest, even if she is 50 years old.

Since Rachel’s actions ultimately weren’t justified, she felt a lack of character development. Her personality created anticipation at first, but as time went on, she became the perfect representation of a cute young woman. She sets out in search of her mother to fill in the gaps in her personal life, particularly those with Alan (her fiancé). Jake didn’t enjoy having others around, but he didn’t feel lonely. They both had major family problems and insecurities. Jake and Rachel work together to overcome many obstacles as they are each other’s strengths.

Noel’s Diary: Plot

Since his mother’s mental illness forced him out as a teenager, Jacob Turner, bestselling author of Theinal Midnight, hasn’t visited his home in over 20 years. A few days before Christmas, while going about his routine as a well-respected novelist, he receives a call from the estate’s attorney informing him of his mother’s death last week. In addition to the house his mother left him, Jacob returns home two decades later to reflect on his struggles with his abusive mother.

When he reaches Turner’s house, he runs into Rachel, a woman who is also searching for the estate. The woman who works there has a nanny’s daughter, Rachel, who is looking for her mother. Jacob and Rachel embark on a quest to find out the truths of their past and heal the wounds burning fiercely in their consciences after realizing that Jacob’s father is still alive.

As a son who seeks information from his recently deceased mother, Justin Harley will star in the film. Prior to that, he contributed to the critically acclaimed and award-winning TV series. This is Us on NBC, which debuted in September 2016. We can expect a great performance from the actor in this show, since he has experience in romantic comedies. I was interested in adapting this book for several reasons. The plot of The Noel Diary has room for heart and humor while also providing great visual and directorial opportunities. A movie that, in Billy Wilder’s words, “can make them laugh and make them cry,” due to Justin Hartley’s role in This Is Us , I decided to pick it up. I had a gut feeling Justin could knock this out of the park, considering its impressive range.”

The soundtrack for The Noel Diary was created by Dara Taylor, who received an HMMA Award for Best Original Score for Coldwell, a 2019 drama. We can have high expectations for the soundtrack considering it was nominated for Best Original Score for an HMMA award in 2015 for the movie Undetectable.

Noel’s Diary: Release Date

Netflix just confirmed the movie’s release date. On November 24, 2022, The Noel Diary is ready to premiere on Netflix.

Noel’s Diary: An Introduction

There’s still no trailer yet, and we should expect to see one in late October or early November. We may get our first glimpse of this movie at the Tudum event in September, though Netflix will likely release more Netflix & Chills content for its 2022 lineup, closer to Halloween.

The Noel Diaries: Is Rachel the identity of her mother?

When Jake and Rachel travel, it becomes apparent that they have great chemistry. They discuss general life topics. Jake explains that he had an older brother who died when he was a little boy, and Rachel remembers how she always wondered why her mother abandoned her when she was a child. The three did not see each other often because his brother’s death had shattered the family. When Rachel finds the book Jake stole from his house, she realizes it is her mother’s diary. Noel was her name.

In her memoirs, Noel describes how her parents rejected her for being pregnant at such a young age. Noelle describes how Jake’s parents adopted her and guided her to become a better person. Jake was Noel’s favorite when he was the babysitter, according to his writing. Noelle also discusses how she was not ready to become a mother at such a young age. She knows that her mother adored her, but life forced her to separate.

The two appear to be in love when they arrive at Jake’s father’s house. Rachel, though, is taken. It doesn’t seem like a romantic relationship, and Rachel seems to be having second thoughts. She buys one of Jake’s novels and develops a deeper affection for him. Jake also has second thoughts because he’s been imagining he’ll never fall in love, but now he’s constantly thinking about Rachel. Once there, Jake confronts his father.

Jake’s father sincerely regrets what he did. Jake’s father disappeared when his brother died, leaving the young boy and his mother alone. After Jake reconciles with his father, he spends a night with Rachel, but she leaves because she is amazed. Jake pursues her and confesses his love to her. Rachel rejects him, but later goes back to his place, and as they kiss, they realize they are meant to be. As the movie draws to a close, Rachel and Jake are ready to embark on a new project.
