More brands aim to impress the judges in the final of Aldi’s Next Big Thing on Channel 4 and secure a place for their product on shelves in the 800 supermarkets across the country. The chain sees a small food and drink brand promoting their products, but only one will ever win a supply contract with Aldi.

The series began airing in October and saw products including chocolate-flavored noodles, camel milk and bug snacks in front of a panel of judges and Aldi’s Managing Director of Buying, Julie Ashfield.

The chain is part of the supermarket’s commitment to supporting British suppliers, and will showcase a range of exciting new products. The entrepreneurs will compete in groups of six over the course of six weeks, downsizing over the course of the show which is filmed at Aldi’s UK HQ in Atherstone, Warwickshire.
