Luisonsi, Thalia, Anitta and Laura Pausini Prepare to Host the 2022 Latin Grammy Award

Several big names have agreed to host the 23rd Latin Grammy Awards, including successful Latin singer Anita, Puerto Rican songwriter Luisonsi, Italian singer-songwriter Laura Bossini, as well as Mexican superstar Talia.

The television broadcast is expected to take place Thursday, November 17, from 8 p.m. ET to midnight ET at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Four co-hosts will present the event

In September 2000, five co-hosts for the inaugural Latin Grammy Awards, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez, Andy Garcia, Jimmy Smits, and Antonio Banderas, performed for the first time that four or more co-hosts had attended since the inaugural broadcast.

It has been reported that Anitta has been nominated for the most Latin Grammy nominations to date and that her hit song “Evolver” is being considered for an outstanding reggaeton performance as well as a record for the year, with the song also topping the All-Billboard Hot 100 chart, reaching Its peak is at number 22.

There are more than five Latin Awards that Puccini has won throughout his career, whileonsi has won one Grammy and four Latin Grammys for his hit song “Despacito” which he wrote with Daddy Yankee.

With six Latin Grammy nominations, Thalia has established herself as one of the most sought-after actresses and singers in the world, and her song “I Want You”, featuringat Joe, topped the Hot 100 Award in 2003, peaking at number 22.

As Person of the Year, the Latin Recording Academy honors Marco Antonio Solas

Prior to the presentation of the Latin Grammy Awards, Mexican icon Marco Antonio Solis will be presented with the Latin Recording Academy’s Person of the Year award. It will be Wednesday 16 November and a party will be held in his honor the day before.

In a statement issued by the Academy of Latin Recording, CEO Manuel Abboud, in a press release, said Marco Antonio Solis has achieved a degree of fame and acclaim that makes him one of the most recognizable figures in Latin music today.

Last year’s party was hosted by Ana Brenda Contreras, Carlos Rivera and Roslyn Sanchez on behalf of the Anna Brenda Contrerasoundation. or their piano song “Talvez”, Tom and Caetano Veloso set the record for 2021. This year, the award is named in honor of Alejandro Sanz’s romantic love song “Contigo”.

In addition to the Latin Grammy telecast, a Latin Grammy premiere ceremony, in which most of the award categories will be announced, will take place prior to the telecast.

During the 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards, which will take place for the third time at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 17, 2022, awards are given to the most outstanding releases of Latin music between June 1, 2021, and May 31, 2022.

This year’s Grammy Awards nominations were announced by a virtual live broadcast on September 20, 2022, hosted by Cany Garcia, Christina Aguilera, Panda Los Sebastian, Becky G, Yutwill, Criollo, Nicky Jam, Acapella, Luisa Sonza, Sebastian Yatra and Camilo. During that time, there will be a three-hour live stream of the concert on Univision.
