Report: LCS games may move to weekdays in 2023

The LCS club is looking to move its match days from the weekend period in 2023, according to a report from Alejandro Gomes from Blix.gg. Next season, LCS will likely move its games to Wednesday and Thursday evenings, according to the report.

LCS has traditionally played all of its games on weekends since its inception in 2013, with occasional shifts to Monday andriday nights throughout its history. While regular Thursday night games will be uncharted territory for the league, the LCS has hosted playoff matches on Thursday nights.

LCS teams have been informed of a possible change to the weekday schedule, according to the report, although nothing is official internally yet.
