Super Mario Bros fans have been obsessed with the game for years, and it’s not just because of its simplicity and addiction.

The games are full of whims – the way you can go from a fully formed world to a pile of blocks in one jump, or how you can bounce off enemies, walls, and even the ground itself. It’s like being able to live in two worlds at once!

Now, what if I told you, all this can bring back nostalgia and give us a chance to watch our favorite superhero fight villains and fiery spirits to bring the princess back to the mushroom realm.

Grab your buttons, trim your mustache, and get ready for your journey back to the Mushroom Kingdom as Nintendo has finally revealed the first trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie (not to be mistaken for the classic 1993 movie starring Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo).

The trailer shows Mario in the mushroom world

The trailer is a breath of fresh air for good animation and a banger sound experience for all those who have been waiting for an exciting animated movie for a long time. The trailer presents us with a fiery battle between two clans, the toughest and cutest of all time.

We get to see the notorious Bowser, the king of the Koopa Troopas, and the enemy of all the good frogs (and many other creatures), voiced by Jack Black.

We also get a chance to hear Keegan-Michael Key as our beloved Mushroom Toad ally, as well as a few lines from everyone’s favorite plumber – voiced by Chris Pratt!

At the beginning of the trailer, Bowser and his army encounter a group of very brave – but very helpless – penguins.

The scenario presented in the trailer for the movie will make you kind of remember the Super Mario 64 model; More specifically, it’s like one particular mission in which Mario has to retrieve Mama the Penguin’s baby for her.
