Eiichiro Oda first started his business in the 1990s. To put this into perspective, he spent more than half his life writing the series. Here’s a quick look back at when it all began for him.

When he was still in high school, Eiichiro Oda worked on sketches for pirate manga. At this point in his life, he has already won many rewards wanted!One-shot limited story series.
Oda even worked on supporting duties with Weekly Shonen Jump before he was 20 years old. Most famously, he helped Nobuhiro Watsuki in his work Kenshin Rurouni. By the end of 1996, he had come up with Roman dawn.
Multiple versions of this story have been featured in Weekly Shonen Jump. Of course, it will eventually be reworked a year later, with the final variation being the most well-known.

However, the art style has changed greatly between the original The dawn of romance and current series. or example, the first red-haired pirates had slightly different designs and features than their more well-known counterparts.
Familiar characters were also missing from the first versions of The dawn of romance. Jules de Roger and the Marines are not mentioned in those stories.
In contrast, some The dawn of romance Characters also never made it to piece As appropriate, like silk from the first version.

After working on two different versions of The dawn of romanceOda finally came up with a concept he liked. The piece The series was serialized in Issue 34 of Weekly Shonen Jump, all the way back in 1997.
More than 25 years later, the series is still growing in strength. It is currently the best-selling manga in history. Oda’s works have sold more than 500 million copies worldwide. While it did not achieve Western appeal Dragon Ball or NarutoIt is a cultural icon in bothrance and Japan.

After a month-long hiatus in June 2022, Oda announced that he would be working on the final saga of piece. There are only a few years left before Luffy’s journey is finally over.
No matter which way the streak ends, it has lasted longer than a third of most people’s lives. This is a very rare achievement. It talks a lot about the staying power and the quality of the chain.
