At least two people were reportedly shot at the Six Flags Great America theme park as emergency responders rushed to the scene and visitors hid.

According to information, a shot was fired at an amusement park in Gurnee, Illinois, at around 7:50 p.m.

The Cardinal of Arlington It says at least two people were shot, including one in the leg.

Park attendees shared videos and photos from the scene, including an example of people huddling together in a group during the scare.

A large number of police and emergency responders were reported.

Some park visitors shared on social networks that they were able to leave the park safely.

It is reported that many emergency vehicles were involved in the incident.

Six Flags Great American is located in Lake County, Illinois.

According to its website, the amusement park was open today from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
